New Hampshire marijuana reform activists are divided over whether the House of Representatives should accept Senate changes to a legalization bill during a final vote on Thursday or reject them and risk delaying the end of prohibition by years.

  • The lead sponsor says she will be voting against her own legislation due to the other chamber’s amendments.

Louisiana lawmakers sent Gov. Jeff Landry (R) bills to decriminalize marijuana paraphernalia and allow the governor to pardon people for cannabis possession convictions without the need for a recommendation from the Board of Pardons.

Lockhart, Texas activists say they’ve turned in more than enough signatures to put a marijuana decriminalization initiative on the local November ballot.

A new study found that CBD is “therapeutically safe with no serious adverse events, well tolerated, and effective for the treatment of mild to moderate anxiety disorders, as well as associated depression and sleep quality disturbances.”

Rhode Island Gov. Dan McKee (D) appointed a top Oklahoma marijuana official to lead the state’s new Cannabis Office.

New changes to Minnesota’s marijuana laws will make it so that between 30 and 40 percent of adults in the state could plausibly qualify as social equity applicants for cannabis business licenses.
