Honey Butter Rosin Co GMO Live Rosin Review

Today’s review is from Honey Butter Rosin Co. This brand was on my radar a bit a couple of years ago but they haven’t been in my area so never really got the chance to try them out. I did notice that they really stepped their game up over the last two years and I could tell their product had gotten better simply by following them online. Picked up this jar of GMO and finally got a chance to meet the team. Hopefully they’ll be in the bay sooner than later cause this jar was a pleasant surprise of .

Smelled like a whole bunch of onions that got thrown into the thrash bin, got left there for a few days, and then a skunk came a sprayed all over that bin. It’s a disgustingly delicious aroma to keep smelling. Please don’t judge me . There’s a small root beer aroma that lingers at the end of all the funk.

A licorice creamy taste with a heavy garlic ending. The licorice is similar to the aroma, in the way that it reminded me more of a soda. That taste of the licorice is immediately masked by the heavy garlic afterwards. There’s a small gassy taste at the very end but a creamy garlic comes back as an aftertaste and eliminates the gas.

Slight body high creeps in and it had me yawning immediately after taking a dab. Very small euphoric kick but definitely a plus. I thought it was great for a Sunday morning full of football (soccer and NFL!). I kept dabbing on it and after a bit of the game, I still had energy to go out and enjoy the sun. The sun hitting my skin felt great and it elevated the euphoria for me. It made me a bit groggy at the end but I couldn’t get enough of this and wished I had gotten a second jar of it.

I did get the jar in fresh press but I got it in LA and was making my way back to the bay with no ice or cooler so it buddered up a bit.
