With Private Reserve aka OG #18 being a highly potent OG phenotype, shrouded in mystery and responsible for many great strains we currently have today, I was excited to be able to see how Jungleboy’s rendition of it fared. Boasting a high 34% total sum of cannabinoids. Upon opening I instantly received a rush of an overpowering sour lemon and chemical gas, alongside a mildly refreshing pine and chemical infusion with subdued musty traits. The buds were of a medium density, having both a typical Jungleboys and OG structure. They were a shade of light green with messy rustic pistils, and home to a universe of trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was greeted by a sour earthy dominant gas with strong lemon and chemical traits, complemented by a subdued pine and mildly sweet creamy gas with hints of caramelised onion. This enjoyable old school array of flavours were retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of light grey alongside an instantaneous leaking and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and clean. To conclude, I found Private Reserve to deliver an enjoyable nostalgic sour earthy and chemical gas, smoking pleasantly well and ticking most boxes. With a little further dialling in, this potent OG will cater perfectly to those who appreciate different flavours and want a powerful sleep aid.
