With a barrage of new flavours released by Cannatique, I was excited to try out their Now and Later Morphs. With the branding referencing the sweet flavour changing candy. Upon opening I was greeted by a sweet and sour infusion of grapes and candy displaying notes of cherries alongside light notes of peaches and strawberries. This funky sweetness was complemented by an earthy chemical gas, with light traits of citrusy lemon. The buds were of a medium to hard density and having a hybrid structure. They were a shade of medium green, with rustic pistils behind a layer of purple hues and absolutely showered in a layer of trichomes. Upon inhaling, my palate was overcome by notes translating from the smell. Delivering an exotic infusion of fruity notes consisting primarily of grapes, berries and cherries. This funky sweetness was complemented by an earthy, chemical and citrus influenced gas, with the taste retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of medium to light grey, alongside an instantaneous oozing and dripping resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean. To conclude, although not the most memorable drop from Cannatique, I found Now and Later Morphs to deliver an enjoyable candy gas, with unique sour notes of grapes exhibiting its Grand Daddy Purple lineage, resulting in a distinctively pleasant candy. With some slight dialling in required, hopefully NLM can be perfected and remain an enjoyable choice on Cannatique’s lineup.
