Although the last Preferred Gardens flower I reviewed did not fare too well, with the given genetics of Lazer Gun and PG’s solid reputation I was interested to see how this flower performed. Upon opening I was instantly greeted by a uniquely refreshing candy and minty infusion. Displaying a subtle earthy gas with musky and vanilla traits infused with sweet cherries and strawberries reminiscent of bubblegum, further complemented by uplifting notes of citrus and sugary peaches with mints. The buds were of a medium density, having a hybrid structure.
They were a shade of light green with attractive pink and peach guts, alongside minimal rustic pistils and seasoned in trichomes. Upon inhaling, my palate was overcome by a well balanced blend of a subtle earthy gas with traits of chemicals, hazelnut and light vanilla, complemented by a sugary sweet candy infusion consisting of cherries and strawberries, with unique peach and mint overtones. This enjoyable array of flavours were retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling. The joint produced ash being a shade of very light grey, alongside an instantaneous leaking and dripping resinous oil ring.
It smoked both smooth and tasted clean. To conclude, Preferred Gardens have definitely redeemed themselves with Lazer Gun. It smoked exceptionally well, ticking most boxes, and is probably one of the most resinous flowers I have been fortunate enough to have smoked. The taste was ultimately a Runtz infused with unique sugary peach and mint overtones. With minimal dialling in, Lazer Gun will definitely remain a strong staple on Preferred Garden’s lineup.
