With Jalebi boasting an exciting lineage, I was interested to be able to try out this unique cross from Baydestrians. With the branding referencing a popular sweet treat from Central and Southern Asia.
Upon opening I instantly received an extremely sweet sugary candy essence, consisting of cherries and strawberries infused with unique notes of cream and pine alongside pungent sour lemon, earthy and chemical undertones.
With the overall scent smelling like a sweet LCG with an added distinctive gas. The buds were of a mixed density, and hybrid structure. They were a shade of medium green, with attractive hues of purple with short reddish rustic pistils, coated in a thick outer layer of gleaming trichomes.
Upon inhaling my palate was overcome by a pungent Gelato earthy gas with undertones consisting of chemicals, refreshing pine and caramelised onions, this gassiness was complemented by a light candy infused with notes of sour lemon. This mildly sweet Gelato dominant gas was retained on my tastebuds upon exhaling.
The joint produced appeasing fluffy ash being a shade of light silver, alongside an instantaneous leaking and oozing resinous oil ring. It smoked both smooth and tasted clean. To conclude, I found Jalebi’s interesting lineage to complement each other well, and although I could not distinguish the Gushers and Biscotti individually, they combined to deliver an enjoyable pungent gassy Gelato dominant candy.
It ticked most boxes, smoking well and with a little further dialling can be perfected further and remain a great staple of Baydestrians lineup.
