With Bazooka Tutti Frutti being another new release from Cannatique, as well as being a bubblegum cross, I was interested to see how it performed. With the branding referencing the popular chewy candy. Upon opening I was instantly greeted by an enticingly sweet rush of bubblegum candy. Displaying strong notes of strawberries and faint blackcurrants. This inviting sweetness was complemented by a gentle Gelato gas with very faint spicy and pine undertones. The buds were of a hard density and had a hybrid structure. They were a shade of light green, alongside sporadic hues of purple, with messy rustic pistils and absolutely showered in a layer of glistening trichomes. Upon inhaling my palate was instantly overcome by notes translating from the smell. Delivering a refreshingly sweet bubblegum infusion of strawberries and light cherries covered in sugar. This sweetness was complemented by a gentle Gelato gas displaying traits of pine alongside an earthy, spicy and creamy Cookies influence. Upon exhaling, the rush of sweet bubblegum begins to dissipate slightly, leaving a mildly sweet predominantly earthy and spicy gas retained on my tastebuds. The joint produced ash being a shade of very light grey, alongside an instantaneous oozing and dripping resinous oil ring. It smoked relatively smooth and tasted clean. To conclude, I was left feeling fairly satisfied with Bazooka Tutti Frutti, I found it exhibiting its bubblegum lineage well, ticking most boxes. With some further dialling in required, hopefully BTF can be further improved and retain a strong place on Cannatique’s lineup.
