Effect: This is the perfect rosin for hammock bound activities. I don’t exactly know why it makes me feel that way but it does. I don’t even own a hammock. My eyes are warm and red and all I want to do is just chill with a big grin on my face but I can’t because it has also awoken an unholy hunger within me. Now I have to practice the restraint of not eating all my kids snacks. It truly is just the biggest moral dilemma I’ll face in a long time. I’m not sure that I that mental and spiritual fortitude to not going into that kitchen and just spin around like a Tasmanian Devil with low blood sugar. When I’m not focused on the collapsing star in my gullet I feel pretty chill. It has nice relaxing aspects to it. From the smell I just thought it was going to be more mentally stimulating and it is to an extent but I also feel like it won’t be too hard to fall asleep after consuming 3-4 dabs for this review.
My old bones definitely ache less after consuming this and I feel less tension I. The muscles around my jaw and eyes. Some really cool medicine for sure.
Overall: I’ve actually never tried ember valley anything before. I’ve always seen them on the menu but I haven’t tried them until now but I was glad I chose this as my first impression of their work because it’s just. so so so good. I just wish I would’ve bought two grams of this because it’s just that good. if it’s around in abundance I want more of this in my fridge like stat. My hat is off to the cultivator’s breeder, and extractors because this rosin is a work of art and anybody who gets to try some of this is truly blessed. Sharing is caring my friends! Don’t let the homies smoke hot dog water.
Appearance: The visual upon cracking this jar is a pale yellow terpy baddery puddle of sunshine. This one is more of a wet badder which I love. It’s honestly my favorite consistency because the wetness of the badder usually translates to some banging ass terps. Even know this rosin is a little on the moister side it’s still really easy to tool off a glob when I need it. This destabilizes with body heat really quickly so I just try to be quick before she starts melting on me. It’s aesthetically pleasing to the eye with a nice workable consistency.
Aroma: The nose on this rosin is in the top three that I’ve had all year. It starts off with mouthwatering fresh pineapple, melon, and even a hint of elderflower and hibiscus. There’s also a decent amount of lemon zest and weirdly enough a little bit of thyme. It’s a perfect scent that just seems to encapsulate that easy breezy summer essence. Besides the fruity and herbs there’s a creamy dimension to the smell that is more cool whip than whipped cream. I literally can’t keep my nose out of this jar it’s just that amazing. When I first got this and smelled it I didn’t even have the patience to take a picture of it untouched before I took two small dabs out of it. The nose always knows.
Flavor/Smokeability: This rosin made me salivate when I first tasted it. It’s got that super fresh tropical fruity bouquet. Mainly those pineapples and melons I mentioned earlier but one thing the flavor has that the smell does not is spice! It’s got a dollop of Chantilly crème on the palate for sure but after that it’s straight up Tajin and I love it a lot. I live in a Hispanic neighborhood and they have a guy selling Chicharrón and fruit across the street from my parking lot and that’s what it reminds me of. Just Some super fresh juicy fruit contrasted with a spicy herbal kick to it with a creamy finish. You honestly can not go wrong with this flavor combo but that might just be personal preference. I could feel the spicy nature of the flavor in my lungs before I tasted it. Super unique lung coating experience that I’ve only had with few strains before. Z being one of them. All that said it has pretty minimal expansion. No coughs at all so far. It doesn’t really produce super thick vapor that I’ve noticed but that’s not really an issue to me.
